Dr. Jeffrey Cumro didn't take the route that you often hear from doctors. Through high school and college he saw himself working in the health field after graduation, but he didn't know in what capacity. It wasn't until a conversation that he had while personal training that he discovered chiropractic. After researching the subject, he found that fitness and chiropractic work very well together, and were something that he wanted to bring together in his practice. With his experience with various sports and his in-depth knowledge of the human body, he has combined chiropractic care, muscle-based therapies and an educational approach to help his patients bodies perform more efficiently. This combination improves performance, decreases stresses and pain, and decreases the likelihood of future injuries. Dr. Cumro started his academic career at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in community health. He earned his personal training certificate from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. After a couple of years of personal training, he attended Texas Chiropractic College, where he earned a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 2009. Dr. Cumro is a licensed chiropractor through the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. He still maintains his personal training certification with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and is an active member of the Nebraska Chiropractic Physician’s Association. |
